THE MURKY CYBER-ILLUSION.

People identified with their thoughts cannot stop thinking because thinking has become their very substance. Their thought-me and their life-agenda are a unique and seamless cognitive program into which they live just like one may live into a dream or into a computer game for instance. Said differently, thought-identity is already a pseudo-me, an avatar if you prefer, and therefore, people identified with their thoughts are used to be costumed with a fake self. This may explain why the heroes of the so-called modern times are actors, Brad Pitt, Jessica Alba, etc.

The immersion into a cyber program is just an extension to the thought-program in our head we mistake for who we are. Yet, it is fundamental to realize that we are not our thoughts. What we ARE in Reality is BEING in us, which is the experience of Reality's INFINITE and conscious ISness. Here the word INFINITE - which is a quality and not a quantity - is essential and must be understood literally.

Since our early childhood we were expelled from our inner Reality by pains too big to be consciously confronted and our organism, in its great mercy, evacuated us into a cognitive and illusory self, made of thoughts with which we identified. It must be said that the people among whom we grew and lived as children, were also identified with their thoughts and they knew nothing else than this virtuality they mistook for Reality.

Therefore, since the beginning of our life we were encouraged to join our elders' cognitive program and its thought-systems, culture, ideology, religion, but also mere lebensweise, genuinely thinking this was the absolute truth and the only alternative we had. For this reason we continue building our world, like our parents did, as a defense that maintains us unconscious of the unresolved pains roaming in us like sharks in a narrow pool. Even though kept repressed these pains can erupt at any moment, triggered by a resonant stimulus and transformed into violent bursts reminding me of solar plasma explosions. This is how anger for instance can totally flood us for what the outside world may consider as minor reasons.

In fact, violence allows liberating the overload of energy that gushes from the unresolved pain-patterns we - unconsciously - repress in our limbic depth, thanks to our inhibiting neurotransmitters. When our inner tension becomes too big this stratagem, set by our organism, momentarily releases the pressure and we may breathe for a little while until our traumatic pain-memories ooze again with trapped energy that needs to be discharged: we are armed for a new cycle of violence. This is how Humankind awkwardly marches on its disconnected path it calls progress.

Sexual intercourse can be another channel for these unresolved pains to release their pressure, and in this case, the sexual discharge works exactly like an eruption of violence. This explains the often close connection between violence and sex, and justifies John Lennon's expression: "make love not war" which talks about a same energy only routed differently. Because of unresolved pains the sexual realm can become a violent one which sometimes culminates with rape pulsions in utterly overwhelmed and disturbed people.

Our Consumer Society sells violence through real guns and weapons which is one of the greatest market worldwide, but also through computer games, violent films, TV's violent News and serials, etc. It sells sex throught the world's oldest profession of course, but also through films, those considered as porno and those considered as mainstream, as well as through fashion, media, advertising, etc. And in the exact same way it sells all kinds of drugs one can imagine, legal and illegal.

Indeed, these three ingredients, violence, sex and drug work the same way: they momentarily release the energy of unresolved pains that linger inside us. This is why the benefit our Consumer Society makes with these commodities represents thousands and thousands of billion dollars every year. For this reason we are bombarded from everywhere with advertisements of many kinds that make us soak into violence, sex and drugs, as soon as we connect with the so-called civilized world. Not a very good place for children to grow indeed, mostly when they have all this rubbish on their portable ! Today the market has transformed us into consumers even before considering us as humans. Not very civilized to me.

The cyber-world, its electronic gadgets, computers and computer-games, all that, also functions like a valve that releases the inner tension of our unresolved pains. We are some how absorbed into the screens of our TVs, computers and cell phones, oblivious of our inner discomfort, tensions, fears, etc. Therefore, today we may add cybernetics, to violence, sex and drugs in the arsenal we have that helps our fake self perpetuating its virtual and cognitive reign over Reality.

By securing and reinforcing our thought-identity the cyber-world, violence, sex and drugs are allowing us to run away from the unresolved pains that hide the access to BEING which is Reality's INFINITE ISness in us. Yet, in so doing they keep us disconnected fron Reality and comfort our destructiveness. I want to reassure you that when we are not dominated by identification with thoughts which twists the sexual desire, and when we are not brainwashed by the industries that transform sex into a product, sexual intercourse is just natural and non toxic for humans.

Since our fake self is not rooted in Reality's ISness it is hoovering above Reality's ground, shaky and insecure by nature. This explains why it is always in search of recognition, looking for being strengthened and reinforced. It notably runs after power which is the strongest drug because the one allowing to get all the others.

When Norbert Wiener, one among the MIT's demiurges, said the cybernetics hold great possibilities for evil, he mainly thought about the unemployment provoked by the robots and not about the fact this technology would be turned into a very powerful weapon, nearly as lethal as the nuclear one. The cyber-attacks and their viruses raging these days are but the very early stages for a planetary war that can become devastating for our global cyber-network. But even more fundamentally, cybernetics enhances and empowers our collective disconnection from Reality by empowering our thought-identity and in so doing it widens the gap of our alienation.

This is at least three decades now that we are subtly indoctrinated with the idea that some how cybernetics can breed a better version of LIFE, enhance living beings' functioning and in a future - which like a mirage in the desert is always further - can create Paradise for all of us.

Huge industries are financing this illusion. Could it be Silicon Valey with its Singularity and Transhumanism, the Pentagon itself with its NBIC, the Japanese Robotics Industries, or Google and its Immortality Project, fortunes are engulfed into brainwashing people with this crap which gradually builds into a new world belief system, This new religion is notably supplied with films showing how robots become superhumans full of feelings of course and with great capacities. Robocop, I Robot and A.I. started the series of this new brand of films which is now widespread. Having lost hope in God, we want to fix our existential predicament on our own. Unfortunately, the path we take is as disconnected from Reality as the one of the ayatollahs since both proceed from identification with throughts.

In the human BEING, this is BEING's INFINITY which is LIFE, and more fundamentally is mere consciousness or Spirit if you wish. Our brain is a decoding device plugged into this INFINITE consciousness which is Reality's ISness. This is by retrieving BEING in us that we can achieve our old dream of being the children of God yet, the word God is confusing since we "think" God is too big and must be outside of us, totally unreachable. But when we rather use the word INFINITY instead of God we realize INFINITY has no size and no limit, and therefore there is no place where INFINITY is not otherwise it wouldn't be INFINITE right ? So it must be in us too, and this is what BEING in us is.
