ACROSS THE SMOKE RINGS OF MY MIND.

When we don't have access to BEING in us, we miss something so great, so irreplaceable, so fantastic, that we uncontrollably need to compensate this void with something and this thing, no matter what it is, works like a dope.

It can be the possession of someone, the possession of power, the possession of pleasure, the possession of wealth, the possession of honor, the possession of knowldege, the possession of food inside our body, the feeling of possession dope gives us, or any kind of other possession as crazy as the possession of the future for instance. We cling to our possessions just like a castaway clings to her raft yet, when we loosen our grip and sink in the ocean's water we realize it is just our very substance and there's nothing to fear at all.

When we don't have access to BEING in us this lack inscribes us in an insane quest that aims at filling this void of BEING and we do it even unconsciously. Therefore the first step is to STOP trying to fill this void and rather experience it, taste it. It might be uncomfortable or even painful, but it is the door through which we must pass if we are to reach BEING in us and its INFINITY.

The feeling of no possession, of emptiness, of loneliness, of nakedness, is the pit into which we must fall until we reach the bottom of all things which is naked BEING in us. During this process we might well cry or even scream, or dance on one foot, it is not important, we let our body express freely what the void makes us feel and we do not judge ourself.

Gradually we learn how to stay with the Reality of what we are right now, gradually we learn to tame the Present Instant and we stop running after some disconnected thought-agenda.

The Present Instant, BEING in us, the full observation and experience of Reality's ISness, are all the same very thing. When we got nothing, we got nothing to lose: we ARE, and this fills all our needs and beyond. 'Beneath the diamond sky and far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrows, we still dance our life on the most rocky path we may find' !
