COSMIC NEXUS



Our galaxy is composed of some 200 billion suns. Its size is just gigantic, around 100,000 light years in diameter. Knowing that light travels 300.000 kilometers in one second, you may calculate for yourself how many kilometers this makes for one year and then you multiply by 100.000 and you get the diameter of our home-galaxy.

In the beginning of the XXth century our galaxy was the sole known universe. Today scientists estimate there are about 500 billion galaxies in the whole cosmos and tomorrow they may tell us there are much more. All this gigantic thingamajig, which expands at a speed close to the speep of light, came out, at the Big Bang, of nearly nothing, a spot as tiny as a point-particle or a zero-dimentional electron. This scientific information is so overwhelming, so unbelievable, that Jesus walking on the water seems just peanuts.

According to the rules of quantum mechanics, the zero-dimentional electron, which is the Real electron, has an INFINITE mass and an INFINITE energy. It is because this INFINITY was blinding all the equations that it was mathematically replaced by an arbitrary yet calculable electron invented by a process called Renormalization.

What is peculiar with INFINITY is, it has no size, no dimension, no shape, yet it "IS" absolutely everything there is. It assumes all the sizes, all the dimensions and all the shapes. This means that BEING in us and the "ISness" of INFINITY are but the one same thing. The sizeless INFINITY can expand from a tiny and invisible dot (at the Big Bang) to any size, including ours, including the one of the expanding universe.

Yet, BEING, which is Reality's essence, is, by definition, an experience and as such it is conscious stuff. But, as we just saw, Reality's essence has an INFINITY quality. Therefore, this INFINITE essence is intrinsically consciousness. I'm sure you never realized INFINITY's essence is consciousness, but if you consider this question carefully it cannot be otherwise: everything occurs and unfolds into consciousness and outside consciousness there is nothing at all.

Our brain is a device that plugs us into this INFINITE consciousness. In the human BEING, the limited form (human) can become conscious of the fact it fundamentally "IS" the INFINITE essence (BEING). This capacity makes of us a COSMIC NEXUS. But usually we experience this INFINITE consciousness from behind the limiting screen of identification with thoughts. This is why we mistake this INFINITE consciousness for an individual, trivial and limited support upon which our thoughts unfold. Just like when we write words on a computer screen we focus on these words and forget the screen. We see the limited forms Reality assumes and forget its INFINITE essence simply because our thoughts cannot grasp it.

This is why in order to realize that Reality's essence is an INFINITE consciousness we must stop identifying with our thoughts and for this the first exercise is to stop thinking altogether. When we remain at the always renewed tip of the Present Instant, our thoughts do not have the necessary time to be generated and the thoughts-screen vanishes automatically by itself. There, we experience the fact that we ARE just what "IS", and it is INFINITY's essence which is the "ISness" of everything including ours.

What makes of the Present Instant our spiritual doorway is its renewal period is so short it tends to zero which is INFINITY's gate. This gate opens into Reality's INFINITE essence in us, Back to this essence we share one common, conscious, indivisible, sizeless and INFINITE essence with the rest of the universe: we're back home and there's no harm left.

DIRECTLY CAPTURING CO2 FROM THE ATMOSPHERE

Direct air capture is the process of chemically scrubbing carbon dioxide directly from the ambient air, and then storing it either underground or in long-lived products.
