LOVE THE ONE YOU'RE WITH.

LOVE is inherent to BEING's INFINITY. Actually, LOVE is INFINITY. Therefore, when we are identified with our thoughts, which hides the access to BEING in us, we become blind to BEING's INFINITY and its LOVE. Knowingly or not, we're so much starving for LOVE that we start looking for it throughout the external World, just like a famished hobo digs any container.

Yet, LOVE is about giving, not about taking and even less about extorting a fix from others. Too often when we say "I love you" this is in fact the unresolved little child in us that says: "please love me mom, please love me dad". Don't forget that without her parents' care the newborn child will not survive and therefore their LOVE is associated with her psychological resolution. We are identified with our thoughts only because the child in us remains unresolved and this is why we mistake a desire to be loved for LOVE itself.

The Gospel tells us "love your neighbor as you love yourself", this is not an empty formula and it should rather be considered literally. When we retrieve BEING in us, which is Reality's INFINITE essence, the LOVE inherent to INFINITY bathes in its plenitude everything and everyone, including us and the one we're with.

As to love the one we're with - and not try to extort LOVE from this poor fellow - we need change nothing but only abandon identification with thoughts. And for this to happen we just have to increase our focus on the always renewed Present Instant which, like an open sesame, clears the access to BEING in us.

When we're back to BEING in us we naturally share Reality's INFINITE LOVE with the rest of the World. Even if the one we're with is just our cat, a flower offering her fragrance, the wind that dances in our hair or a gorgeous rising sun that fills our heart with light, everything and everyone ultimately is expression to INFINITY's presence which is LOVE.

LOVE is unique and it belongs to everyone, more, it "IS" everyone intrinsically. When we are locked up into the bubble of identification with thoughts and therefore disconnected from Reality's INFINITY, we dwell in a cognitive and confined space from which LOVE is absent. As long as we are imprisoned into this fake world we are like blind beggars pumping each other's understanding, approbation and compassion as substitutes for LOVE through egoistic strategies. Yet, this doesn't work for long and only soothes our deprivation for a little while.

So, we realize the most loving action is to show others how to wake up to the LOVE they ARE. And this is Bodhisattvas' very task.

Bless you LOVE.
