HUMANKIND INSANITY



According to the IPCC's latest Report, if we want to avoid being confronted with a broken and totally uninhabitable planet, we should bring back our CO2 emissions to 50% of what they were in 1990 and this before 2020. Yet, instead, we are blindly increasing these emissions year after year, raising boiler's pressure, just because it makes money and fills some people's pockets. And this, as if everything was all right, as if we were not, ecologically speaking, already in a dire emergency situation.

Global Warming doesn't know our frontiers, neither our ideologies and religions, and it can be properly answered ONLY if we join our efforts together, all of us, and work side by side at reducing our CO2 emissions. This means that we must abide by a common ecological guidance that would stand above our little national, separate and egoistic, sovereignties. Otherwise, competition for lower price energy will not let us answer Global Warming which threatens all of us alike.

Also, because we are identified with our thoughts and therefore disconnected from Reality which is BEING in us, we find nothing better than generating endless conflicts and wars that captivate all our attention, also our Media's attention, and absorbe all our energies. For these stupid wars we find thousands of billion dollars while when it comes to save the planet we never find the funds that would be needed. We are good at destroying and very bad at repairing what we've destroyed.

Yet, the more we destroy our planet, the less she can provide for our needs and the more we tear apart each other for the leftovers. And the more we fight each other, the less we pay attention to our planet deterioration. The deeper we sink into this vicious circle and the harder it becomes for us to step out of it.

Yes, Humankind is totally insane, there's no other word, and the countries known as great democarcies are the most disconnected ones from Reality because they are the most avid for power. What we must understand is our little national interests have already turned obsolete and toxic. Facing the global deterioration of the planet only the common interest of Humankind, taken as a whole, remains an option. We will all lose together or win together. As to win, we must organize our Global Community as one system right now since tomorrow will be too late. And for this Global Community to effectively work one country cannot continue hoovering above the others ...since this is not just and inevitably creates resentment and conflicts.

Our global hunt for power and coercion is pathological and lethal for all of us, preys as well as predators. No matter our ideologies, religious or not religious, our whole planetary society is built upon a cogntive delusion, which is identification with thoughts, and this is were lays our problem.

"The fear of losing what we HAVE prevents us reaching what we ARE", said Saint Augustine. I can only subscribe to this sentence yet I would like to explain how I understand it.

This identity in us which cannot reach what we ARE by fear of losing what we HAVE is an impostor, a fake identity made of thoughts and dwelling in us incognito. This fake self made of thoughts is clinging to HAVING in an attempt to compensate for a lack of access to BEING in us, which is precisely hidden by the screen of identification with thoughts.

This auto-bred predicament shouldn't be considered lightly. It is the basis for our accelerating global chaos that may end up into a generalized mess soon. Our Growth Economy takes from the Earth more and faster than our planet can replace. In 2030 we'll need two Earths to nourish Humankind. This will push us towards more abuse, more violence and more wars. The way we destroy our Global Home is totally mad and very dangerous. If we were bees destroying their hive, scientists would study our behavior as to find out what is wrong with us. We demolish Reality's expressions in order to feed the disconnected dream generated by identification with thoughts and this path cannot be sustained for very long anymore, we're reaching the end of it.

The fakeness and the duality of our global civilization, generating conflicts and destruction, comes precisely from identification with thoughts which introduces a cogntive split between our very behavior and Reality's essence which is INFINITE, indivisible and therefore "IS" everything there is including us.

We identify with our thoughts when we are expelled from Reality in us by pains too big to be consciously encountered. This is the energy of our unresolved and encapsulated pains, gathered around birth, which, thanks to a kind of security valve system, is released when it reaches a certain threshold and is ripe to be triggered by external stimuli.

These unresolved pains spread against symbolic targets their overload of energy transformed into violence and conflictual behavior that breaks Reality harmony. The child who had problems with an authoritarian, insensitive and brutal father, for instance, might well later in life reject authority and even fight the government through a violent and conflictual behavior. Again, even though identification with thoughts talks a lot about rules, laws, ideologies, religions, etc., yet, on the very ground, there is only repressed pains bumping against other repressed pains, each hidding behind good pretexts which are but cognitive camouflage and intellectual dressing.

We must realize that existential theories and religions, no matter how great they may seem, cannot be correctly implemented as long as we are identified with our thoughts and this simply because thought-identity disconnects us from BEING in us which is Reality's INFINITE essence.

Karl Marx's work was maybe beautiful on the paper, but on the ground it delivered 100 million deads in less than a century and ended up in a huge mess. The Koran should spread wisdom yet it rather delivers only barbarism everywhere. In the name of Progress and the Democratic and Liberal system we've generated the Global Warming that endangers Humankind as a species and our CO2 emissions already kill five million people a year.

Identification with thoughts is the great pathology that sustains all these failures from behind their deceiving masks. The solution to our existential problems and Humankind's decline and decadence, resides in a return to BEING in us .. only.
