CIVILIZED ?

Think that merely because we call our period of time "The 21st Century", men and women will be less savage, less brutal, less violent and abusive in comparison to other times ?  Anger, brutality and violence sprout from unresolved pains packed with their pristine charge and stored in our limbic system as unresolved memories. A planet with 60% of its ecosystems exhausted or destroyed and much less resources to provide, while 7 billion people chaotically crawl on its surface, allows less acting outs to evade our hidden unresolved pains. Anger and violence will be the last reactive ramparts before we fall under our primal and unbearable pains. The other would do anything to not sink there. So don't dream an excessive amount of, more than ever before everything's ripe for individuals to tear one another in pieces.
