Our CO2 emissions are rising every year and have already reached 400 ppm. Yet, while we do not find the financing for a change of energy, which is crucial for Humankind, and there's no time left, we spend every year thousands and thousands of billion dollars for our amusements and distrations of all kinds, including sport, tourism, music, movies, DVDs, computergames and te chnological gadgets, but also products that disconnect us from Reality like alcohol, drugs, antidepressants, etc., etc. The question is: from what do we need to distract ourselves so much that we jeopardize Humankind's survival for that ? The answer is, there are pains too big to be consciously encountered mostly by the fetus, the new born baby and the young child. These pains remain hidden in us, unresolved, and disconnect us from our inner Reality they have contaminated. Since then on we find refuge into a fake self, made of thoughts with which we identify. There's an inbuilt natural software to our brain. I call this neuronal program our Real-self because it is one with BEING in us which is the INFINITE essence of Reality. This inbuilt brain network notably controls our natural functioning, endocrine secretions, immune system, etc. When we are hit by pains too big to be consciously encountered, and since Reality's essence is not divisible, their intensity blinds our conscious access to the Real self, enclosing us within the horizon of a cognitive, virtual and limited self. Our organism aims at rejecting the unresolved traumas in us, just like it does for any foreign body that intrudes our system. Yet, since these traumas are too big to be consciously encountered a repressive force in us stores them as unresolved pain-memories in the depth of our limbic system, roughly hippocampus and amigdala, and this, even before their lethal impact with consciousness. The only flaw in bioshere that destroys Nature is in the human BEING. Turn off the tap and the pollution will STOP altogether. This flaw is identification with thoughts. Indeed, we are not our thoughts. What we ARE is BEING in us. All we have to do is to return to BEING. But since we are too stupid to do that we resort to unbelievable technological inventions which will be useless as long as we continue spreading our dirt around. Facing the challenge NASA must adapt its means and get where the problem lays. Technology just extends identification with thoughts and gives it more power even to destroy Nature. Indeed, this is technology which allowed our psychological disconnection from Reality to become harmful. The stump is symbol for survival facing the wild wind of destruction we are blowing upon our planet and the dark future we are preparing for ourselves. From the 1960s' slogan "Change or Disappear", we must shift to another slogan: Adapt or Disappear. If global economy, global information and global communication, including the Internet, were not enough to globalize our planetary community, Global Warming imposes this change. Indeed, as to properly answer the extraordinary challenge we are facing, we must abide by a common ecological guidance under a common umbrella.
