When the child's organism is struck by pains too big to be consciously confronted, these pains are buried in our limbic system before they lethally clash with consciousness and their resolution is postponed to some future time. The Natural Order of the Free Market according Adam Smith was just a dangerous delusion. Have you noticed how the branches of a tree can be twisted ? How they seem free while they still obey an order ? Being free yet still obeying an order is what our liberal society pretends we are. Reality's essence is INFINITE yet, it expresses itself through forms which by definition are made of limits. And since they are limited they leave a place for other forms to exist as well. This is why Reality's expression comes in couples of opposites among which the most basic is the Yin and the Yang. When pains too big to be consciously felt and encountered contaminate our inner Reality, unconsciously we internally enter in opposition to what "IS". Since then on, there is a natural propensity for us to dodge this inner state of war by releasing its pressure onto the external world like one liberates bloating energies. In classical and modern Persian literature the Simorg is frequently mentioned, particularly as a metaphor for God in Sufi mysticism, which is a remnant of the ancient Iranian spirituality. In the 12th century 'Conference of the Birds', the Iranian Sufi poet Farid ud-Din Attar wrote of a band of pilgrim birds in search of the Simorg. In the poem, the birds of the world gather to decide who is to be their king, as they have none. The hoopoe, the wisest of them all, suggests that they should find the legendary Simorg. This creature represented the union between the Earth and the Sky, and stood as a metaphorical figure for the INFINITE unity of everything. The hoopoe leads the birds, each of whom represent a human cognitive abstraction which prevents humans from attaining Reality's essence INFINITE unity.  Reality is met only at the always renewed tip of the Present Instant. The past was Reality when it was the Present Instant and the future will be Reality when it will be the Present Instant. Only the Present Instant is Reality. Yet, its tip has practically no length. It is so short that it tends to zero. When we succeed surfing this timeless tip we awaken to INFINITY right here, right now, no need to wait for after our death for that, we're already there. Our main enemy is identification with thoughts. Indeed we are not our thoughts. What we ARE is BEING in us, which is both pure consciousness and Reality's INFINITE essence. This is why when we are identified with our thoughts we are psychologically disconnected from Reality and its INFINITY in us. And since then on we are wandering like a drunken boat, looking for cognitive stratagems to anchor ourselves but in vain. We inexorably drift away from Reality's harbor and as to reassure ourselves we call this wandering Progress. This is then that a bunch of charlatans of all stripes, takes advantage of this widespread pathology to harness people with fake and deceptive ideologies, secular or religious. They present these ideologies as THE solution that can fix and stabilize the fickleness of thought-identity, and through this artifice they manipulate and control entire populations (of course with the help of the Media).  Most people spend their lifetime locked up into the cognitive bubble of their thoughts. Identified with their thoughts they interpret the world around through what their thoughts may tell them, just like one would gaze at her/his surroundings through distorting glasses. People never go beyond this cognitive screen based upon memories and therefore based upon an unresolved past that betrays Reality's essence since this essence can be met within us only at the tip of the Present Instant. When we turn our attention within our body and experience BEING in us, we realize it is pure consciousness. Our thoughts are just elements that arise, unfold and flow into this conscious space that is Reality's very essence.  In all my texts I'm talking about a direct, very free and easy experience, and not about intellectual and complicated theories. We do not need theories and ideologies and even less those figured out by other people. Each one of us is a door that opens into INFINITY, this is why we do not need other people's door for this purpose. What we need is the experience we make of Reality within us which is the source for all the true existential theories. To be who you Really ARE is not the difficult task. The difficult task is to remain identified with your thoughts, and therefore to remain who you ARE not. Who you Really ARE is BEING in you, or Reality's INFINITE essence, and not your thoughts which are limited, virtual, fickling, evanescent and conflictual constructions. The human BEING is composed of two parts, our human part and our BEING part. While our human part is a form among forms and is therefore made of limits, our BEING part is our essence and it is INFINITE. S
